Scheduling A Chat
If you'd like to schedule a chat on our IRC server, we require
that you give us at least 7 days advance notice
via email so that we can avoid any scheduling conflicts that might otherwise
occur, and that any information promoting your chat event lets people know that the chat
is being hosted by Echo Station. Please check with us before announcing any chat
events - it is extremely important that we be aware of any chat events going on with ample
notice so that we can make sure the chat server will be able to handle the extra influx of
people as large chats tend to be an extreme resource drain. We ask that you let
folks know where it's being hosted since we're providing this as a free service, and a
little publicity helps offset the server drain from our point of view. Chat events
that we are not aware of beforehand are subject to immediate room closures and enforced
network bans, so please make sure you let us know. |
